A glimpse into the history: "On June 24, 1889 Robert LeRoy Parker robbed the San Miguel Valley Bank in Telluride, Colorado.  Shortly thereafter he traveled through the Boggy Bench which became the Buffalo Valley Ranch and Heart Six Ranch on his way over the Togwotee Pass to Dubois, Wyoming where he made a deposit and opened his very own ranch at the Hole in the Wall Pass.

The Employee Experience

Here at Heart Six Ranch, we seek to serve others.  Not only do we serve the hundreds of guests that come to visit us, we serve each member of our team.  The ranch is very family-oriented and the staff that comes to serve with us becomes a family of its own.  We value the friendships that are created here, with many lasting a lifetime.  Working every day with each other in this environment is fun and enjoyable, and although days can be very busy, the camaraderie formed among staff lightens the load making it hard to call this "work".   We value providing memorable experiences to those guests that stay with us, and it is fulfilling to all staff to provide these experiences for the guests.  Being a staff member and seeing the impact you have on guests is one of the most rewarding parts of being employed at Heart Six.

Outside of work, the location provides ample opportunities for those that work here to explore and enjoy the beauty around us within the National Parks and our local town of Jackson.  With endless options for hiking, canoeing, fishing, and pretty much anything outdoors, our employees not only provide a memorable experience for guests they serve, but also create a memorable experience for themselves to take home with them through the opportunity to work with us and serve others, the friendships created here, and the opportunity to enjoy our "backyard".
