Want a job where you’re more than an employee—you’re part of the community? The YMCA of the Rockies is looking for a Staff Experience Team Member with a Resident Assistant designation to help create an exceptional experience for the staff who live and work at our Estes Park Center.

As a Resident Assistant, you’ll build relationships, support staff, organize activities, and help create a welcoming, respectful, and connected housing community. You’ll also serve as a resource for residents when challenges arise, including after-hours housing needs and emergencies.

Best of all: Resident Assistants receive free room and board in exchange for being available for on-call responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Build positive, professional relationships with staff and volunteers

• Organize meetings, activities, and events that strengthen the staff community

• Welcome new staff and help them get connected to the YMCA and Estes Park

• Support staff housing operations, including cleanliness, room preparation, inspections, and lock-outs

• Respond calmly and professionally to after-hours housing situations

• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming residential environment

• Assist with staff-related transportation, appointments, and errands

• Support Human Resources and other departments as needed

• Serve as a positive role model while upholding YMCA policies and values

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and good judgment

• Comfortable working independently and responding to unexpected situations

• Ability to communicate fluently in English

• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate stairs and uneven terrain

• Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful community
