Join YMCA Camp Takodah for our 110th summer as our Outdoor Pursuits Program Head! In this role, you will supervise staff, gain inventory and budgeting experience, create engaging and life changing experiences for children all while have a blast at summer camp. This role is great for someone who is looking to take on a staff coaching and managing role, but may not have had the opportunity for this experience just yet. Our Outdoor Pursuits director oversees our Nature and Sports program areas, which include things like archery, hiking, soccer, fire building, and so much more!
Room and board is covered while on site.

Camp Takodah provides award-winning overnight camps for kids ages 8-15. Takodah helps campers discover who they are and what they can achieve. In our single-gender camps, kids unplug so they can connect with themselves and each other. In everything we do, we empower kids with the confidence and character needed to reach their full potential.

- Our cabins are cozy, rustic and well maintained. All cabins have electricity and screened windows for fresh breezes. Staff sleep in twin-sized beds with comfortable mattresses. We provide bed linens, a sleeping bag, and a pillow. All cabins are within eyesight of the central bathroom and shower facilities, all of which have been recently renovated.
