We are currently hiring a few people in two different roles: Guest Services and Cooks!

West Creek Ranch Guest Services is the ultimate variety job! This position reports to the Operations Manager, and rotates through our dining room, housekeeping department, dishwashing, and transportation. In addition, this associate may assist in activities during the week, either joining a group hike or driving transportation to our off-site activities. Our Guest Services folks are the pride of our operations and make every guest experience first class.

Qualifications and Requirements               

• Ability to be flexible and work a variety of jobs.

• Desire to bring forward their genuine self to build a culture of inclusivity and achievement in the workplace daily.

• Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or ability to acquire before start of employment)

• Current ServeSafe Alcohol certification, TIPS training, or similar (we can provide training for those that are not current)

• Ability to follow a checklist to accomplish all tasks during a shift, and give feedback on such checklists as needed to improve efficiency.

• Ability to problem solve and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work with guests and staff in a respectful manner.

• Able to meet physical requirements of the job which include repetitive motions, standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, twisting, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work in inclement weather to complete tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in hospitality.

• Prior guest ranch experience with a focus on fine dining.

• Experience navigating in large passenger vans.

A successful Cook at West Creek Ranch is focused and motivated. West Creek is a unique guest ranch that functions with a cyclic menu of scratch made foods with varied styles of meal services from BBQ to fine-dining plated dinners. We have the unique opportunity to go above and beyond each day to make our guest’s experience unforgettable. Our small guest capacity coupled with a Monday to Friday work week means we have the time and resources to execute our menu to the highest standards.

Line Cook Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.

• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.

• Cooks food items by grilling, smoking, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.

• Maintains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces throughout the shift.  

Requirements and Skills

• Proven cooking experience preferred, but willing to train the right individual.

• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong collaboration/teamwork skills.

• Strong sanitation habits.

• Flexible and creative with a “Can do” attitude.
