Remote lodge on a beautiful cove right next to the national forest!

The Lodge Assistant is a multifaceted role at our lodge involved in every department. This position involves assisting in various essential duties across the lodge facilities and grounds and is a great opportunity to become trained in the hospitality and fishing industry.

*This is the best way to become a deckhand, and work on one of our fishing boats or to work in any other department. I promote from this position almost always, if your work ethic, discipline, and attitude is to our lodge standards. You will be a back up deck hand if called upon during the season, first aid and drug test is mandatory.

Each day, you will be assigned tasks on a rotating schedule, along with daily responsibilities, which include:

• Help with maintenance of lodge including general repairs, restocking of propane/fuel, and maintaining of equipment, and various lodge tasks

• Keep grounds areas clean and maintain clean appearance of outdoor areas through sweeping, leaf blowing, painting, etc.

• Record and maintain daily catch for each boat and share results at guest dinners,

• Coordinate with Chef regarding inventory of seafood for guest meals

• Help with the washing, bagging and vacuum sealing of guests’ catch daily

• Assist with the preparation fish boxes for guests on turnover days

• Clean, organize and help prepare rain gear for guest use

• Collect and sort garbage to proper designation/disposal

• Assist with cleaning and preparing of guest rooms in conjunction with housekeeping including laundry

• Help in the kitchen by serving of plates, distributing drinks, washing of dishes, etc.

• Assist with the weekly unloading of supply vessel

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
