Bartender is a multifaceted role at our lodge involved in every department. This position involves assisting in various essential duties across the lodge facilities and grounds and is a great opportunity to become trained in the hospitality and fishing industry.
The primary responsibly is service to our guests, in a professional manner, knowledge of wine and mixed drinks, as well as table sever is critical to this role, we use toast as our POS system previous knowledge and use of toast is a plus. Our bartenderservers are a important role for us and your the face of our dining experience pervious experience in a fine dining restaurant is a necessity for success.
Bartenders, MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE in a high-volume restaurant or fine dining experience. You are the face of our experience as our guest spend a majority of their time in our bar. Experience with high end bourbons, scotches and whisky's is a must, as is wine knowledge.
Teamwork- we may hire you as a server, table service experience is a must, our bartenders serve our guest during food service. we work as a team on the island so we ask that all employees help in all departments regardless of their roles, we work as one, no job is to big or small, you must be able and willing to do tasks outside of your role when asked.
Each day, you will be assigned tasks on a rotating schedule, along with daily responsibilities, which include:
Table service
Wine service
mixology experience.
care and cleanliness for bar and guest areas
liquor inventory and storage
POS- Toast knowledge a big plus
Any and all dining room our guest services work
knowable of our menu and food
set up and break down of our dining areas
getting any and all dishes and eating and drinking equipment from boats in th even
helping any department in tasks that they need help with
Coordinate with Chef regarding inventory of seafood for guest meals
Help in the kitchen by washing of dishes, etc.
Assist with the weekly unloading of supply vessel
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
