Help introduce people from all walks of life to the incredible rock climbing and rappelling opportunities found here in the Red River Gorge, Kentucky!

Southeast Mountain Guides is hiring for multiple positions, from facilitating hands-on instruction on our Via Ferrata—the first of its kind in the United States—to helping clients book unforgettable adventures in our reservation office, to leading private guided climbing and rappelling trips on the world-class sandstone cliffs of the Red River Gorge.

We're looking for people who are passionate about climbing, enjoy working with others, and want to make a positive impact on every client they meet. While each position has different qualifications, we're especially interested in candidates who have some climbing experience and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing our local climbing community with others.

We are a seasonal operation, open March 1 through December 1, and are currently hiring to help for the remainder of the 2026 season with the hope that successful candidates will return for the 2027 season and beyond.

Please note that we do not provide housing, although there are several affordable housing options available in the area.
