We are hiring for full time positions: 40 hours/week at $10.00-$16.00 per hour, depending on experience. We have maintenance and interpretive positions available.
Our season runs May through October. Weekends and holiday work are required.
Maintenance positions involve janitorial work, painting, maintaining historic and modern buildings, as well as assisting with the gift shop and public/school tours when needed.
Interpretive positions involve giving public and school tours, historic research, janitorial work, and assisting with the gift shop and maintenance tasks when needed.
We have housing and RV sites available. Housing includes private and shared cabins, with cell boosters/Wi-Fi, indoor plumbing, and electricity. RV sites are FHUs.

South Pass City State Historic Site
South Pass City Historic Site is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history of South Pass City, Wy. As an old gold mining town we have more than 30 historic buildings in the townsite and at the Carissa Mill. We give tours of the Carissa Mill and English Tunnels, put on events for the community, and maintain historic buildings.
