SEASONAL POSITIONS – Hotels

HOTEL CONCIERGE’S

Enthusiastic individuals needed to assist with front desk duties and handling guest registrations.  Provide guests with general information regarding hotel facilities and local activities.  Assist with special services and arrange transportation for guests. ($18.00 per hour)

 

HOTEL FRONT DESK AGENTS

Manage guest arrivals and departures.  Perform administrative duties including telephone calls, guest reservations, guest concerns/requests.  Work with housekeeping for updated room status and coordinate requests for maintenance and repair work.  Must be proficient with computers. ($18.00 per hour)

 

HOTEL FRONT DESK NIGHT AUDIT CLERK

Manage front desk during overnight hours.  Welcome guests and address guest concerns. Required to work late night or early morning shifts and must be able to work independently.   Must be organized, display attention to detail and be proficient with computers. ($19.00 per hour)

 

HOTEL HOUSEKEEPERS

Ensure guestrooms are clean and prepared for guest turnover. Clean, disinfect, replenish supplies in accordance with safety and quality standards. Housekeeper positions include sign-on bonus up to $1500.00 ($18.00 per hour) 

 

HOTEL HOUSEMAN

Perform cleaning and light maintenance duties to maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel common areas.  Assist with housekeeping duties and special events as needed.  Houseman positions include sign-on bonus up to $1500.00 ($18.00 per hour) 

 

HOTEL BELLMEN

Greet guests in a welcoming and friendly manner.  Assist guests with retrieving and loading luggage and personal items.  Ensure public areas and hotel grounds are maintained and clean.  Provide guests with information regarding local activities, dining, and services. ($15.00 per hour plus tips) 

 

SEASONAL POSITIONS – Food & Beverage (Food Handlers Card Required)

COOKS (2-5 Years’ Experience)

Responsible for preparing high quality food items according to recipes and specifications.  Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to guests.  Maintain consistency with our cooking methods, quality standards and operating procedures.  Cooking positions include sign-on bonus up to $1500.00 ($17.00-$21.00 per hour) 

 

BARTENDERS – Avalon Grille

Enthusiastic, service oriented, qualified bartenders with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.  Prepare beverage products and provide high-quality service to guests.  Maintain bar in neat and organized manner and assist with inventory and restocking bar items. ($15.00 per hour plus tips)      

 

SERVERS – Avalon Grille

Greet guests with a positive, friendly attitude.  Provide information about menu items, and specials. Deliver food in a timely manner.  Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with food and service. ($15.00 per hour plus tips)      

 

 

BARISTA/COUNTER ATTENDANT

Need customer service-oriented individual to work the counter at the Atwater Bistro assisting customer with orders from Bistro menu items. ($15.00-$16.50 per hour)

 

 

DISHWASHERS

Reliable, service-oriented individuals who enjoy working in hospitality.  Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of kitchen items.  Duties include washing dishes and keeping surrounding work area clean and organized.  Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is helpful. ($17.00 per hour)

 

BUSSERS

Clean restaurant tables and re-set tables for customer use. Assists wait staff with minor requests from customers. ($15.00 per hour plus tips)      

 

 

BANQUET HOUSEMAN

Perform a variety of cleaning activities for events and surrounding areas.  Assist with furniture arrangements for opening and closing of events and perform light maintenance duties as necessary. ($17.50 per hour)

 

BANQUET SERVERS

Greet guests with a positive, friendly attitude.  Provide information about menu items, and specials. Deliver food in a timely manner.  Monitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with food and service. ($25.00 per hour)

 

 

CAMPGROUND RANGER

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining campsites to ensure grounds are well kept and meet company appearance standards.  Perform minor repairs for guest facilities, as necessary.  Assist guests with inquiries as needed. ($17.00 per hour)

 

 

ISLAND SPA CATALINA

Be a part of the Island Spa team surrounded by incredible scenery and providing first-in-class service.

 

Massage Therapist – provide massage and body treatments.  Must have a current CAMTC License ($15/hour plus commission)

 

Cosmetologist – Provide hair and nail services.  Must have current California License ($15/hour plus commission)

 

Nail Technician – Provide nail services.  Must have current California License ($15/hour plus commission)

 

Spa Attendant – Maintain spa facilities throughout the day with light housekeeping tasks and assist in providing a relaxing experience to all guests. ($18.50/hour)

TWO HARBORS, CA

BANNING HOUSE FRONT DESK

Responsible for booking reservations for hotel accommodations and driving guests a short distance, to and from the lodge.  Provide information to guests to help coordinate activities.  Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.  Must be proficient with computer system.  Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills required.  Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.  Seasonal position. 

BANNING HOUSE HOUSEKEEPERS

Responsible for cleaning rooms and making sure rooms are ready in time to meet check-in deadlines.  Check all equipment in guest rooms to ensure everything is in proper working order.  Maintain room supplies for toiletries, etc. Additional responsibilities also include setting up breakfast and maintaining general cleanliness of the property. Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills required.  Seasonal Position. Housekeeper’s positions include sign-on bonus up to $1,500.00

Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery of food items to guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests.

HARBOR REEF BARTENDERS

Enthusiastic, service-oriented, qualified bartenders with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.  Prepare beverage products and provide high-quality service to guests in a high-volume environment.  Maintain bar in neat and organized manner and assist with inventory and restocking bar items. 

HARBOR REEF HOST

The hostess will welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant and/or palapas and interact with guests as they exit the restaurant to ensure they had an enjoyable experience.  Will monitor open dining sections for available tables, estimate wait times and seat guests.  Make sure guests are comfortable while waiting to be seated and keep them informed of the wait status.  Will be responsible for answering phones and booking reservations.  The hostess is a personal representation of the service and overall hospitality of the staff, so it is important to be customer service oriented and have a positive attitude. Obtain /have California State Food Handlers certification as applicable.  Minimum of two-year experience.

HARBOR REEF COOKS (2-5 Year’s Experience)

HARBOR REEF DISHWASHERS

HARBOR REEF SUPERVISOR

Manage day to day operations for restaurant front of house.  Hire, supervise and train staff.  Manage work schedules and execute daily shift meetings to set direction for the shift.  Ensure delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service in a clean and well-maintained restaurant environment. 

SEASONAL POSITIONS RANGERS

CAMPGROUND RANGER

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining campsites to ensure grounds are well kept and meet company appearance standards.  Perform minor repairs for guest facilities as necessary. Make daily gear hauls to and from the camp sites. (must be able to life 50lbs)  Assist guests with inquiries as needed.

SEASONAL POSITIONS GENERAL STORE

GENERAL STORE CASHIER

Will be responsible for the sale of product to customers and handling routine store operations.  Responsibilities include, stocking shelves, arranging product and advertising displays, pricing, and tracking inventory.  Will operate point of sale system and keep record of sales.  Must be customer service oriented and have excellent communication skills.  Previous experience in a retail environment and handling sales transactions helpful.

SEASONAL POSITIONS HARBOR DEPARTMENT

HARBOR FUEL DOCK ATTENDANT

The incumbent is responsible for fueling, spills, Express and other common carrier docking, Shore boat docking, dinghy docks, pier and float maintenance, fueling/cleaning company vessels. Weekend, holiday, and occasional after-hours work will be required for this position. 

TWO HARBORS SECURITY

Responsibilities include securing premises, patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and addressing any violation, and act as doormen to the bar and/or dance floor.  Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.

HARBOR SALAD BOWL OPERATOR

The Harbor Salad Bowl Operator will cruise through each of the frontside coves during daylight hours picking up trash from moored and anchored vessels. Communication with the harbor patrol in each cove is key to notify boaters when to expect the Salad Bowl to cruise by for a pickup. This service is fee based so maintaining a cash bank and receipt book is required. At certain times during the summer months, the operator will also make pickups of trash at yacht club facilities at Moonstone, Big Geiger cove, LAYC, and Emerald bay. Close quarters maneuvers and shallow water operation in anchorages require extreme care by the operator of the salad bowl.

HARBOR OFFICE ASSITANT

The Harbor Office Assistant is responsible for providing customer service and Harbor Patrol assistance from the office located on the north end of the Isthmus pier. Coordinating Shore Boat and Patrol boat charters with the Harbor Manager and Captains. Assists visiting boaters and mooring leaseholders with assignments, reservations. Communicating information, including harbor policies, rules and regulations as well as events, activities, hours of operation and facilities available on shore. Prepares reports to document unusual events or lost/found watercraft.

HARBOR PATROL NIGHT AUDIT

The Harbor Patrol Night Audit is responsible for assigning and facilitating the use of moorings within the Two Harbors tideland areas and primary shift is between 10:00pm & 7:00a. The Harbor Patrolman is responsible for patrolling the mooring fields and adjoining waterfront area by boat to ensure safety of guests and property. In addition, they are responsible for cleaning and fueling up all patrol and shore boats in the evening. Monitoring radios and responding to emergency situations, including but not limited to towing, fire, medical, lifesaving, and disabled vessel calls in and adjacent the harbor area.

HARBOR PATROLMEN DAY-TIME

The Harbor Patrolman are responsible for assigning and facilitating the use of moorings within the Two Harbors tideland areas. The Harbor Patrolman is responsible for assigning moorings, fee collection, maintaining records, and assisting the general public. Harbor Patrolmen duties may include the transportation of passengers, baggage, trash, and commercial towing assistance, if licensed. Must respond to radio calls in a friendly manner and be proficient in use of computers.
