    Front Desk Night Agent

    $17.50 / hour

    As the Front Desk Night Agent at the Ticaboo Lodge in Southeast Utah you'll work with a small team of dedicated and knowedgeable staff to help create an enjoyable experience for guests. We're looking for candidates who are able to work the evening shift (4 p.m. to 12 a.m.) as well as weekends and holidays. The Front Desk Night Agent position is a seasonal role that ends October 31, 2025. An onsite apartment is provided with WIFI  at no charge in exchange for being on call for the rare occasion that a guest should need assistance after hours (no on call for days off, only for days that are worked so that you will be free to leave the property on your days off).

    Qualifications:

    • High School Graduate or equivalent

    • Basic knowledge and/or ability to be trained on PMS software

    • Customer service oriented

    • Required to work night shifts as well as weekends and holidays

    • At least 1 year front desk or guest reservation related experience preferred

    • Valid Driver's License

    • Reliable transportation

    • Ability to climb stairs and at times carry supplies up to 30lb

    • Dependable and timely

    • Must submit to and pass a criminal background check

    Location:  Utah

    Wages:  $17/hour with housing provided at no charge

    Experience:  At least one year of front desk experience preferred

    Housekeeper

    $17.00 / hour

    As a Ticaboo Lodge Housekeeper, you’ll work with a small team dedicated to ensuring an ideal guest experience through attention to detail and a welcoming attitude. We’re looking for candidates who can work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays. The Housekeeping position is a seasonal role that ends October 31st, 2025. 

    Responsibilities

    • Give exceptional service and a smile to all guests 

    • Clean lodge rooms and rental homes, including but not limited to: 

    • Floors, bathrooms, kitchens, beds, and laundry 

    • Work efficiently and effectively to maintain a high standard of cleanliness with a strong attention to sanitation in guest rooms and homes

    • Work with the Lodge manager to reorder supplies and address maintenance needs

    • Be helpful and friendly towards coworkers and staff

    • Other duties as assigned


    Qualifications

    • Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

    • Must have reliable transportation to and from work

    • Ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop and twist

    • Ability to lift 40 lbs. 

    • Ability to work various days of the week, including weekends and holidays

    • Ability to sustain productive work with minimal supervision

    • Professional appearance and attitude

    • Must submit to and pass a criminal background check

    • Must be able to relocate to a remote setting before starting work

    The Trading Post and Grill is a small, privately owned retail and food establishment located in southeast Utah, 11 miles from Lake Powell. In business for 40 years, the Trading Post and Grill is a main supplier of retail items, freshly prepared food, and area information for boaters, hikers, campers, and explorers. We’re looking for candidates who can work a schedule that includes mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The Cashier/Deli Worker positions is a seasonal role that ends October 31st, 2024.

    Responsibilities

    • Greet customers with a friendly, informative, helpful attitude

    • Accurately take food orders for deli and ice cream items

    • Ring items into a POS system, and accurately process payments 

    • Prepare food according to standard food quality and safety practices

    • Deliver food to guests in a courteous and professional manner

    • Cleans deli surfaces & equipment, empty trash, clean bathrooms, sweep & mop

    • Stock shelves and coolers

    • Other duties as assigned


    Qualifications

    • At least one year of experience in a cashier/deli setting preferred but not required 

    • Ability to be trained on and operate a retail and a food related POS system

    • Ability to be trained in food preparation and consistently follow recipes

    • Must be able to complete and pass SERV safe food safety training 

    • Must be able to work varying shifts between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. as well as weekends and holidays

    • Must have reliable transportation to and from work

    • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, and to bend, reach, walk and lift up to 30 lbs. 

    • High School graduate or GED

    • Must submit to and pass a criminal background check

    • Must be able to relocate to a remote setting before starting work

We provide supplies and freshly prepared food for boaters, hikers, campers, and explorers of the ATV trails throughout the Colorado Plateau desert and Henry Mountain area. As a Grill Cook at the Trading Post and Grill, you’ll work with a small group of employees to provide high quality, delicious food to guests and visitors. We’re looking for candidates who can work a schedule that includes mornings, weekends, and holidays. The Grill Cook job is a seasonal role that ends October 31st, 2024.

    Responsibilities

    • Greet customers in a friendly and helpful manner

    • Take food orders and ring orders into a POS system

    • Prepare food according to standard food quality and safety practices

    • Deliver food to guests in a courteous and professional manner

    • Keep work area stocked, clean, and organized

    • Clean cooking surfaces and equipment such as flat top, fryer, utensils, pots, pans and trays as needed

    • Prepare food ahead of time for service by chopping, slicing, and pulling from freezer for proper cooling temperatures

    • Stock ice, condiment and soft drink area as needed

    • Other duties as assigned


    Qualifications

    • Ability to give, receive, follow, and comprehend instruction(s)/direction(s).

    • Ability to operate or be trained to operate a food related POS system

    • Must follow all health and safety rules and complete SERV safe training

    • Must be able to work day or night shifts, weekends and holidays

    • Ability to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team

    • Ability to sustain productive work with minimal supervision

    • Reliable transportation to and from work
