JOB SUMMARY

Provide overnight security for guests and employees by conducting and documenting regular rounds of all areas of Paradise Inn hotel and Paradise area employee housing. Maintain quiet hours and fire watch as management representative, respond to fire alarms. Ensure that all assigned areas are locked and secured during overnight hours.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide overnight security for guests and staff. 

• Respond to alarms, conflicts, or concerns appropriately and assess whether to involve management or authorities. 

• Communicate with dispatch as needed and respond accordingly. 

• Make sure doors are locked overnight as required. 

• Conduct complete and thorough rounds throughout Paradise Inn complex and employee dorms, both inside and outside of buildings. 

• Document hourly rounds accurately. 

• Maintain quiet hours and monitor noise levels in guest areas and employee housing. Respond as needed. 

• Coordinate efforts with other overnight employees to ensure all tasks are completed. 

• Assist porters or front desk staff as needed. 

• Performs such other related duties as directed or required.
