Experience with horses required. Must be able to demonstrate excellent horse handling skills, offer instruction to guests, and be comfortable performing all gaits of horsemanship (walk, trot, lope, gallop). Must be safety conscious, ability to instruct guests of all ages, farrier skills are a plus. Riding program includes half and all day outings. Will help with other activities including but not limited to children's program, driving for scenic river floating, and hiking in Grand Teton National Park. This is the position for someone who loves kids. Along with our Kids Program Director, you will be responsible for planning the activities for our youngest guests. You can be creative, and have fun! You will also be responsible for training other staff and supervising them during work. It is important to be able to communicate clearly, have an abundance of patience (as kids always require), and truly enjoy the little ones and teaching them new things. Previous experience in children's education, camps, or youth programs is beneficial. Will be responsible for scheduling treatments for guests and arranging for sub-contractor therapists.
