Our staff have gone on to form lifelong friendships with fellow staff and guests alike. They have fallen in love with the area and with the ranch, often moving to Jackson Hole or returning to their summer home at Lost Creek Ranch.

  • Wrangler/Guide

    Experience with horses required.  Must be able to demonstrate excellent horse handling skills, offer instruction to guests, and be comfortable performing all gaits of horsemanship (walk, trot, lope, gallop). Must be safety conscious, ability to instruct guests of all ages, farrier skills are a plus. Riding program includes half and all day outings. Will help with other activities including but not limited to children's program, driving for scenic river floating, and hiking in Grand Teton National Park.   • Assistant Dining Room Manager

    This position will work the bar in the evenings and must have previous bartending experience. Knowledge of mixed drinks, wines, and appropriate food pairings is key. Depending on demand for the bar in a given week you may also find yourself working in other departments on the ranch or helping in the kitchen with prep and other things.

  • Assistant Kids Program Director

    This is the position for someone who loves kids. Along with our Kids Program Director, you will be responsible for planning the activities for our youngest guests. You can be creative, and have fun! You will also be responsible for training other staff and supervising them during work. It is important to be able to communicate clearly, have an abundance of patience (as kids always require), and truly enjoy the little ones and teaching them new things. Previous experience in children's education, camps, or youth programs is beneficial. You will have a couple shifts a week in other departments similar to the Guest Services position, and may have more depending on the needs of the kids program. During weeks with low numbers of kids or Adult-Only weeks you can expect more time in other departments (serving, housekeeping, hiking, transportation, dish pit, etc.).

    This position will be our primary driver and will be driving daily at some point or another. Driving duties: float trips with trailer, airport transpos, and weekly rodeo trips.     This position will be the head of housekeeping and is responsible for the cleanliness of the ranch. You will clean as well as train guest services members to clean and maintain guest areas and common areas. Strong leadership skills are critical to getting your team to perform and excel in their duties.

    The Housekeeping Supervisor must take pride in the appearance and cleanliness of the ranch. This position is also responsible for supplies inventory, expense budget, housekeeping equipment, and the laundry room. Bedding is laundered by an outside company and as such laundry responsibilities are greatly reduced. Primary laundry consists of weekly guest laundry and daily place mats and pool towels.

    Previous experience cooking professionally is required as well as kitchen management. Must be able to demonstrate skills at a 5-Star fine dining level. Will be responsible for the culinary experience of our guests and staff. The following positions report directly to the Executive Chef: 2 Sous Chefs, 1 Line Cook, 1 Pastry Chef, and the Dining Room Manager. As a team these individuals will work together to maintain an immaculately clean, professional, and inviting kitchen. This position is required to posses necessary safety certifications in food prep, handling, and delivery.

    The Executive Chef is responsible for budget, menu planning, scheduling of chefs and cooks, and ordering for any and all food as well as table linens and chef coats.

    Meals will be for a staff of 40 and guests numbering around 45 - 55. Guest meals should be beautiful in presentation and perfect in culinary execution. Being in the Rocky Mountains it is encouraged that you order and use local meats and produce to give our guests a truly western experience. Staff meals are buffet and should be nutritious and delicious and offer good variety throughout the week and season.

    Must be able to handle dietary requirements of our guests and staff and plan accordingly to ensure those individuals receive the same level of culinary experience as the rest of those served.

    In addition to regular meals there are a few cookouts that take place during the week. Subsequently experience cooking outdoors on a grill and in safe transportation of food is key.

    Daily and weekly cleaning of all kitchen surfaces, appliances, and instruments is the responsibility of all kitchen crew and a schedule should be made by the Executive Chef.

    The Executive Chef is the leader of the kitchen and sets the tone for the entire department and guest experience in this area. Subsequently this individual should be professional, friendly, level-headed, and beyond a hard worker. No duty should be beneath this individual and patience in instructing and teaching fellow staff is key.

    Will also conduct scenic float trips as our park permit allows.  Upon completion of river training, river guides will be responsible for leading scheduled float trips down the Snake River. The section we float in our 8-person raft is stunning with serene views of the Grand Tetons. Trips are based on guest sign ups: usually one morning trip each day with a second trip during the busier portions of the season.

    Ideal candidates will have at minimum current Wilderness First Aid certification. However, it is possible to become certified post interview and before the start of the season. Candidates should have experience with boats and/or rafts and be friendly and people-oriented. Good information retention is pivotal for providing a knowledgeable and enjoyable float for our guests.

    As one of our massage therapists you will be responsible for performing spa treatments on our guests and keeping the spa area clean and hygienic. Experience and professional certification in massage therapy is required for this position. Guests are to be treated as one would expect given a 5 star facility. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and great teamwork are essential qualities for the performance of this position and all ranch positions. When not performing treatments, side work will include regular cleaning of the spa facility: massage rooms, waiting area, bathrooms, workout room, yoga room, and pool area. You will also operate the laundry machines in the spa and clean and fold towels and robes. When demand for treatments makes it impossible for the therapists to complete the side work then other departments will assist as-needed. This position must also monitor supplies and inventory necessary for the performance of treatments.

    This position is hourly and commission based and includes free room and board.
