As a Retail Associate, you'll do more than stock shelves and ring up purchases—you'll help guests take a piece of Alaska home with them. Whether you're recommending locally made gifts, sharing your favorite stories about the area, or providing exceptional customer service, you'll play an important role in making every guest's visit memorable.

What You'll Do

As a Retail Associate, you'll welcome guests into our retail stores with a friendly smile and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience. You'll assist guests in finding unique Alaskan gifts and apparel, answer questions, process purchases accurately, restock merchandise, maintain attractive displays, and help create a warm, inviting shopping environment. Every interaction is an opportunity to leave a lasting impression on visitors from around the world.

Where You'll Work

Located in Hoonah, Alaska, you'll spend your days working in one of the most beautiful destinations in North America. Surrounded by towering mountains, pristine coastline, and incredible wildlife, you'll experience the adventure of Alaska while helping guests discover everything our community has to offer.

When You'll Work

This is a seasonal position, generally running from April through September 2026, with opportunities to begin earlier or extend later depending on business needs.
