    Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC), a brand within Vail Resorts Hospitality, operates hotels, dining, campgrounds and activities within Grand Teton National Park as well as the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club. Positions start at 40 hours per week (time and a half is paid above 56 hours). We do hire entry level through highly skilled and experienced candidates.

  • Line Cook : Intermediate Level (May - September)

  • Laundry Supervisor - BONUS ELIGIBLE (May - October)

    Laundry Operations
    Jackson Lake Lodge, Wyoming

    Do you enjoy seeing things get clean? Are you looking to gain supervisory experience in the hospitality industry? Are you interested in working and living in Grand Teton National Park?     The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for opening and closing procedures of the laundry facility, including controlling workflow by coordinating work assignments with laundry manager or assistant laundry manager. The Supervisor is expected to prepare all laundry machinery for operation daily prior to arrival of the crew, in addition to assisting with laundry production as needed, and overseeing operation in the absence of the manager or assistant manager.

    The “must haves” for this position include: 

    • Quality conscious and attentive to detail
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
    • Must be able to move around and stand on your feet for long periods of time

    The Night Shift Front Desk / Night Auditor is responsible for accumulating and balancing the daily revenue for Jenny Lake Lodge, in addition to performing all front desk, PBX (Hotel Operator), and cashiering functions throughout the graveyard shift. The Night Auditor should additionally be able to be "on-hand" to provide guest services to any guests checking in or checking out during their shifts, in addition to delivering room amenities as requested and answering all guest inquiries. The Night Auditor is additionally responsible to clean all common areas of the lodge, including guest bathrooms.

  • Bell Person/ Bellman (May - October)

    Do you want to make the first impression on the guests and visitors of Jenny Lake Lodge? Are you interested in working and living in Grand Teton National Park, ensuring that each of our guests has an Experience of a Lifetime? Are you looking for an Experience of a Lifetime?     The Bell Staff is responsible for providing a "warm welcome" to all guests entering the Lodge, as well as provide courteous assistance with guest luggage to the cabin and a room orientation.  This position requires to be knowledgeable and provide information regarding GTLC, Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding Jackson Hole area.  The bell staff assist the Front Desk as needed and assist the Dining Room by serving cocktails in the Lobby during dinner service.  Most importantly, anticipate guest needs and promptly and graciously assist with all requests. 

    Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Serve as a Door Person and warmly greet guests as they arrive.
    • Assist guests with their luggage at their cabin.
    • Provide guests with an orientation to the resort and their cabin as well as accurately answering all of their questions.
    • Assists guests with making arrangements for dining and activities in Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding Jackson Hole area.
    • Attentively and politely respond to all guest concerns or complaints and follow up to insure the guest has received a satisfactory resolution
    • Assist the Front Desk as needed with answering phone calls or attending to guests.
    • Maintain the continental breakfast in the Lobby and completely breakdown at 9:30am.
    • Replenish ice and bottled water in all of the guest cabins and firewood in the suites.
    • Take Dining Room reservations for Lodge and non-resident guests as necessary.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area, the reservations office, and the lobby, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and water potted plants.
    • Light and maintain the fireplace when appropriate.
    • Pick-up and Drop-off guests at the airport as needed.

    The “must haves” for this position include:

    • Valid US driver’s license
    • Successful MVR completion
    • Must be age 21 or older
    • Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to perform well under pressure

  • Grounds Worker (April - October)

    Golf Maintenance Operations
    Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club, Wyoming

    The Grounds Worker, under the supervision of the assistant superintendent or foreman, performs routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment; and occasionally perform work involving large equipment such as tractors, loaders and mowers,. Each groundskeeper may be assigned responsibility for the care and maintenance of several designated holes on the golf course and does related work as required in a time sensitive manner with regard to maximizing efficiency and quality.     Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Maintains all golf course grounds with great attention to detail.
    • Operate mowers, string trimmers and hand tools in the daily maintenance of greens, aprons, tees, around trees, fence lines, banks and hillsides; edges cart paths; bunker edges, rakes maintains sand bunkers.
    • Maintains, removes weeds and cares for clubhouse grounds and landscaping in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Sets tee markers, and maintains ball washers; replaces tee towels and flags when needed; removes debris from greens, tees, cart paths with use of blower or sweeper; sands and seeds tee and drop area divots.
    • Assists with all opening and closing procedures of the golf course.  Including, but not limited to, removal of leaves, aerification cores, tree maintenance, installation and removal of deer barrier and bunker maintenance.

    The “must haves” for this position include:

    • Physical strength, stamina and agility.
    • Ability to follow oral and written directions.
    • Self-motivation and ability to work well with others will benefit a person in this position.
    • Must possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

    • Previous work experience in landscape or golf course maintenance capacity.
    • Valid driver’s license and successful MVR completion - preferred

  • Senior Interpretive Specialist (May - October)

    The Senior Interpretive Specialist  will provide  quality interpretive work developing, planning, and coordinating interpretive programs for Grand Teton Lodge Company within the confines of its Contract and Operating Plan.  This position will develop, plan, coordinate, and direct orientation, educational, and interpretive material so as to maximize employee and visitor opportunities to make personal connections with the meanings and significance of Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.  The senior  Interpretive Specialist will provide NAI certification opportunities for GTLC guides. In addition, this position is responsible for educating guests and employees on interpretive aspects of the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway, Grand Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park; this includes history, geology, ecology, flora, and fauna.

    Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Partner with the Executive Assistant to develop, review, and implement interpretive curriculum and programs.
    • Oversee training and scheduling of the Interpretive Specialist. 
    • Train all seasonal staff engaged in interpretation (raft guides, wranglers, boat captains and bus drivers).
    • Conduct periodic audits of all activities during the season to evaluate the interpretive content.  Provide feedback for guides in a constructive manner.
    • Provide National Association of Interpretation certification classes for key guides. 
    • Develop training materials to be used for ongoing interpretation and NAI certification classes.

    The “must haves” for this position include: 

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
    • Minimum of 3 years working in an interpretive or educational role
    • Possess the ability to interact professionally with guests
    • General knowledge of policies, programs ad procedures related to National park Service Interpretation and Business departments
    • Ability to produce written documentation that is technically complete, grammatically correct, and neat.
    • Must have National Association of Interpreters Certification, a valid drivers license and successful MVR completion
