Our summer season typically runs from early May through late September/ early October, with limited opportunities for winter seasonal employment.

*Although internships are not offered by the Grand Teton Lodge Company, the positions and experience we offer may meet internship opportunities provided through your college or university.     Why Grand Teton Lodge Company?

    Grand Teton Lodge Company (GTLC), a brand within Vail Resorts Hospitality, operates hotels, dining, campgrounds and activities within Grand Teton National Park as well as the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club. Positions start at 40 hours per week (time and a half is paid above 56 hours). We do hire entry level through highly skilled and experienced candidates. Opportunities exist to work for our sister Vail Resorts properties for their winter season.

    We are looking for guest service-oriented, outdoor enthusiasts in the following positions:

  • Laundry Manager (May - October)

    Laundry Operations
    Jackson Lake Lodge, Wyoming

    Are you a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills? Does a busy schedule with competing priorities and obligations excite you? Are you interested in working and living in Grand Teton National Park? Are you looking for an Experience of a Lifetime? If you answered, “Yes” to these questions, this position is great for you!

    The Laundry Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the central laundry facility.

    Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for the scheduling and supervision of all laundry employees.
    • Establish proper workflow utilizing machinery and personnel to facilitate a 24-hour turnaround of all linens.
    • Control of linen inventories to minimize loss; assure proper and reasonable levels in all housekeeping and food and beverage operations.
    • Works in laundry positions as needed.
    • Communicates with Executive Housekeepers, Food and Beverage Director and Employee Village Managers on laundry needs.
    • Utilization of appropriate wash formula and accepted good wash room practices to assure high quality work at the lowest possible cost
    • Assist in the maintenance and repair of all laundry machinery.
    • Implements the company's Hazard Communication program by ensuring safe use of cleaning/chemical products.
    • Other duties as assigned

    The “must haves” for this position include:

    •  Progressively responsible positions in laundry with 1-2 years supervisory level experience
    • Great communication skills
    • Successful completion of MVR
    • The ability to lift up to 50lbs

    We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, although it is not required:

    • Understanding of care and preventative maintenance of commercial laundry machinery.
    • Previous managerial experience in a 400 room property or larger.

  • Plumber's Asisstant (May - October)

    Engineering
    Jackson Lake Lodge, Wyoming
    $11.50 / hour

    Do you enjoy the “great outdoors?" Would you like to spend the summer minutes away from some of the country’s best hiking, climbing, fishing & sightseeing while receiving a paycheck? If this sounds good to you then come & have the “Experience of a Lifetime” working in the majestic Grand Teton National Park, located between Yellowstone National Park & historic Jackson Wyoming.

    The Plumber's Assistant is responsible to aid the Plumber with the maintenance, repair and installation of all new and existing plumbing apparatuses and equipment components located at our various facilities.

    Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    •  Responsible for assisting the plumber on the repair of all phases of plumbing-related problems including sewer stoppages’, inspection of grease traps, fire hydrant repair, and new installations.
    • Every Maintenance Department staff member will be assigned other technical work within the department when maintenance crisis occur within the company or work in their particular technical field is temporarily or permanently reduced.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.

    The “must haves” for this position include:

    • Provide own hand tools
    • A valid US driver's license
    • Prior experience installing and maintaining plumbing water and sewer systems and equipment
    • Capable of handling moderately strenuous activity (such as occasionally moving heavy equipment)
    • May be required to work different shift schedules including night shift (if needed maintenance can’t be done during normal hours)

    This job is generally scheduled 40 hours per week with two consecutive days off allowing ample time to enjoy your surroundings. Our operating season is typically from late-April to mid-October.

  • Locksmith (May - October)

    $12.00 / hour

    Do you enjoy the “great outdoors”? Would you like to spend the summer minutes away from some of the country’s best hiking, climbing, fishing & sightseeing while receiving a paycheck? If this sounds good to you then come and have the “Experience of a Lifetime” working in the majestic Grand Teton National Park, located between Yellowstone National Park & historic Jackson, Wyoming.

    The Locksmith is generally scheduled for 40 hours per week with two consecutive days off to enjoy the diverse environment of Grand Teton National Park. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: keeping all locks in good operating condition, keeping proper inventory of locks and keys, maintaining an easily referenced system of Master Keys, establishing a system for storage of keys transferable from season to season, logging all keys that are issued to seasonal staff, and other duties as assigned.

    The “must haves” for this position include:

    • Prior locksmith experience
    • Organizational Skills
    • Capable of handling moderately strenuous activity
    • Must possess a valid driver's license/ Successful completion of MVR

    We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required: 

    • Knowledge of MicroMain or other computerized maintenance program
    • Experience with Microsoft office and excel
    • Basic carpentry skills

    Our operating season is typically from early May to mid-October.
