Job Summary:
The basic function of this position is to prepare baked items for the dining rooms and special functions..

The Details:

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Pay: $18.05 per hour
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of recipe reading, knows measurements and possesses scaling ability

• Good piping skills

• Plate scaping

• Daily dessert set-up

• Daily dessert production

• Bread production

• Maintain standards of cleanliness

Qualifications

• Previous experience in volume production

• Ability to work on several tasks at once in a timely manner with minimal supervision

• Follows written and verbal direction well

• Flexible schedule, ability to rotate between AM and PM shifts as needed

• Ability to scale up/down recipe quantities

• Knowledge of recipe reading and measurements

Physical Requirements include:

Constantly: Stand, walk, handle, reach outward, bend, lift/carry up to 20lbs, push/pull up to 25lbs.

Frequently: Reach above the shoulder, squat/kneel, lift/carry up to 50lbs, push/pull up to 40lbs.

Occasionally: Sit, climb, crawl, lift/carry up to 100lbs, push/pull up to 100lbs.
