Gold Rush Demo Handler to Work with Alaska Sled Dogs!

Exciting job opportunity in Skagway, AK. 

• First priority - Must love dogs

• Care for sled dogs: feeding, watering, poop scooping, basic dog health and pen care

• Harnessing dogs and prepping them for tours

• Assist in general tour duties as assigned

• Handlers may also have the opportunity to drive the sled with approval from the Manager and General Manager

• Most importantly, be compassionate, friendly, and loving towards the dogs

• This is an entry-level position with no experience necessary as we will provide the training. This position is strenuous and active, often requiring repeated heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
