About Gold Rush Dog Tours
Gold Rush Dog Tours, LLC is the sister company of Alaska Icefield Expeditions, Inc. Founded in 2006, Gold Rush Dog Tours has been running strong and providing guests with an experience to remember in beautiful Sheep Creek Valley.

Come join our team, that works together to create a memorable experience for guests and sled dogs who LOVE what they do.
Not only will you get to meet people from all over the world, but you will also get to be one on one with past and future Iditarod runners, sled dog puppies and sled dogs who are training. There will be lots to learn and we are happy to share with you!
The best members of our team are people who love dogs and people. You will be a key member of a hard working team. Excellent communication, timeliness, ability to work alone or with others is very important. Ability to maintain a friendly and professional attitude with co workers and guests at all times.
The ideal candidate will be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather. Maintain a positive attitude and proactive manner throughout the work day.
Room and Board
We're based in Sheep Creek Valley where housing is also located. Staff will be in traditional wall tents with 2 to 4 people. There is a communal kitchen and lounge with a full time cook while in camp. There is no charge for room and board at camp.
Gold Rush Drivers - Housing is offsite with a nominal fee of $350 per month for double occupancy.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Employees will be responsible for getting to Juneau before and after the season. Most people fly into Juneau, although some elect to take the ferry. We will provide transportation from the airport or ferry terminal. Should you decide to drive your own vehicle, there are places to park, however, we are not responsible for lost/theft/damages.
There is plenty to do while in Juneau. You have mountains to climb, trails to hike, water to canoe, restaurants to eat at and so much more. Be a tourist for the day and explore downtown or choose to get out and go deeper into the wilderness to see what Juneau has to offer. You won't be disappointed.
