Fine Mess Bakery

Currently recruiting for the season from October 1st, 2026 to September 30th, 2027.

Baking is a mess of fine things—and out of this mess, we make something delicious! We are a small shop located on a small and magical island. We make several breads, plus yeasted cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit scones, savory biscuits, cookies, brownies, croissants, and other pastries—including many gluten-free options.

On Lopez Island, part of the beautiful San Juan Islands in the Salish Sea, 90 minutes north of Seattle + a 40-minute ferry.
