Lead the bake on a beautiful Pacific Northwest island

FIne Mess Bakery sits in the center of town on a small, rural island in the gorgeous Salish Sea. In the fall it's crisp and cool as an apple. Winter is quiet, cold, and rainy; not gonna lie -- it's not everyone's cup of tea! -- but if you like Spanish moss and quiet walks in the woods, you might love it. In spring, all  the baby animals (foals, lambs, calves, chicks!) jump around in the bright green fields. And summer -- summer is as perfect as summer gets. 

 We're looking for a head baker to lead our team through the seasons -- the quieter fall and winter, the busier spring, and the very busy summer. Together with our bakery manager (who will handle things like staffing, maintenance, and inventory), you'll manage the bake schedule, train and manage the baking staff, and help decide what kind of pasty and baked goods will be served. 

To be successful in this role, you should enjoy leading a team and be able to communicate and teach others with kindness and respect. You should have great time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and of course a deep knowledge of baking. Experience with laminated doughs and breads preferred.
