Chesapeake Bay Outward Bound

We are an outdoor education non-profit that centers elements of social-emotional learning. We partner with schools and local organizations to deliver both one day programming and multi-day backpacking, canoeing, and sea kayaking expeditions throughout the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. We operate March - November.

We are located in Baltimore and Washington DC, but lead trips in the Appalachian region, Dolly Sods, the Potomac River, and the Nanticoke River.
