Our counselors provide leadership, direction, and supervision of campers in both overnight and day camp settings. Counselors ensure the safety, wellbeing and positive development of participants by leading activities, modeling YMCA core values, and building strong relationships within the camp community.
Our counselors can expect to sleep in glamping tent accommodations with up to 10 campers and 1-2 additional staff members. These assignments change weekly, while taking into account the staff members preferences.
Each staff member gets Friday evening, all-day Saturday, and Sunday morning off to rest, hike, camp, explore Denver, or venture into Rocky Mountain National Park just 30 minutes away.
While on-site Monday-Thursday, each staff member will receive 2 hours off per day to call home, workout, watch a movie, etc.

All staff have access to staff-only bathrooms and showers. A staff-only staff lounge for time off and on-site gym equipment.
