The Camp Grady Spruce YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is actively seeking a cause-driven leader to join the team as Business Services Coordinator.
Camp Grady Spruce is located about 90 miles west of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex on 535 acres on the shores of beautiful Possum Kingdom Lake in North Central Texas. PK Lake is one of the clearest lakes in Texas and is known for its dramatic cliffs and beautiful, rolling hillsides. Common outdoor activities include boating, diving, swimming, fishing, and hiking. Camp is home to an abundance of wildlife, and it is common to see white-tailed deer, bobcats, and roadrunners along the trails.
This role will monitor branch financials, overseeing monthly operating statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, and deposits. Provides board and campaign support for Camp Grady Spruce, preparing monthly financial reports for board and executive committee meetings. Takes minutes during these meetings and compiles packets for distribution. Offers assistance as needed with the Annual Campaign at camp and participates in Special Events.
This individual must professionally handle phone calls, directing them to the appropriate staff member. Additionally, the incumbent will assist members with online registration, oversee the scholarship process, and generate reports upon request. Responsibilities also include aiding bulk mailings, assembling meeting packets, ordering meeting food when necessary, and setting up the office for meetings. This person will provide support to the Executive Director.
Tasks involve sending and receiving contracts and agreements, entering groups, and maintaining CORE (CORE is the sales system the Dallas Y uses for membership, programming, and donations). Ensure that all reservations are signed, deposits are received, and totals are paid as specified in the reservation agreement. The incumbent is accountable for ensuring the branch collects over 90% of campaign pledges.

YMCA Camp Grady Spruce
Established in 1989, the residential Outdoor Education program at YMCA Camp Grady Spruce is devoted to helping teachers educate students about the interrelationship and interdependence between man and the environment. The OE Program operates during the school year and is primarily focused on the curriculum 5th grade students. Instructors teach kids canoeing, horseback riding, archery, and more!
