Deliver clear safety briefings and instructions to guests. Ensure a fun, engaging, and safe experience for families and visitors. Assist with shuttle logistics, guest check-in, and other light duties as needed. Represent Willow Creek Tours professionally and enthusiastically.

Requirements:

Some prior experience rafting or guiding on rafts (Class 2/3 or similar gentle/whitewater experience preferred; we value enthusiasm and quick learners). Valid driver's license with clean driving record (required for shuttles and transport). Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain/renew before season start). Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in variable Alaska weather, and stand/sit for extended periods. Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and comfort interacting with diverse guests (including families and international visitors). Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation to/from the launch site near Willow.

Preferred (but not required):

Wilderness First Aid/First Responder certification. Swift water rescue training. Previous guiding, outdoor recreation, or customer service experience in tourism. Knowledge of Alaska wildlife and natural history.

What We Offer:

Competitive seasonal pay (based on experience). On site camping / RV lodging. Opportunity to work in one of Alaska's most scenic locations. Training provided on our specific routes and rafts. Flexible schedule with multiple daily trips.
