Since 1936, Wickiup Cabins has been a refuge in South Dakota's Spearfish Canyon, where cold, clear water flows and spruce trees stretch skyward. We operate 20 rustic cabins in our beautiful canyon. Join us to experience the perfect balance of an exciting seasonal adventure and a peaceful place to call home.

Nestled along Spearfish Creek in SD’s iconic Spearfish Canyon, Wickiup Cabins is an outdoor paradise! Step outside to hike, bike, fly fish, or explore waterfalls. We are 15 mins from Lead/Deadwood, 30 mins from Spearfish, and 5 miles from Mickelson Trail. On days off, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and Wind Cave are an hour away, with Badlands NP a 2-hour drive.
