Summary
As a Facilities Technician, you work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to ensure the glamping location is well-maintained, safe, and operational for guests and team members. You perform daily maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of tents, amenities, equipment, and property infrastructure. This is a seasonal, hourly position with the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs across the camp property
Troubleshoot plumbing, propane, electrical, generator, and equipment issues
Conduct general upkeep of tents, structures, decks, vehicles, and tools
Work collaboratively with facilities team members across departments
Interact professionally with guests and team members
Maintain safety standards and complete work efficiently and accurately
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of maintenance or skilled trade experience preferred
Experience with plumbing, propane, generators, or electrical systems
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork
Additional Information
This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, when applicable.
This position requires that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 45lbs independently.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind.
This position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background check and/or motor vehicle records check, if requested by Under Canvas.
