Town of Jackson, START Bus is accepting applications for a full-time, year-round, Commuter Transit Operator. Hiring range $62,400 or $30/hr - $66,560 or $32/hr DOQ.
Primary duties include transporting commuter passengers to and from Teton Valley over Teton Pass and driving local routes in Jackson. Residency required in Teton Valley, ID where the route originates. For a complete job description please click here.
This position has full benefits offered by the Town of Jackson including: health, vision, dental insurance, matching contributions into your Health Savings Account, life insurance at no cost to the employee, short and long term disability insurance, paid leave of 152 hours annually with separate 8 hour holiday stipend provided with each holiday, Wyoming Retirement System, $1000 annual match into Wyoming deferred comp, shift differential for driving Teton Pass routes of $1.50/hour, and a report stipend of $37.74/day when required to report for driving routes in valley without driving the commuter route that day.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: High School graduation or equivalent, a Wyoming Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Passenger (P) endorsement, and experience driving passenger buses.
May include weekend work.
