TigerFish is looking for a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our fast-paced, high-energy kitchen. We’re a tight-knit team serving locals and visitors alike. Our menu features sushi, classic Asian-inspired dishes, and seasonal specials. Quality, consistency, and good vibes are what we’re all about.
Applicants must be willing to relocate to Block Island for May 8 through the end of October.
What You’ll Do:
Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Lead and motivate kitchen staff during service
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Assist with menu development and specials
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in a sous chef or senior line cook role
Strong knowledge of Pan-Asian cuisine (or willingness to learn quickly)
Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen
Leadership skills and a team-first mindset
Creativity and attention to detail
