The Wicked Loon is a high-volume upscale waterfront restaurant located right on the town docks in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, at the heart of one of New England’s best summer communities. Summer here means busy restaurants, live music, lake life, local events, and a town that comes alive all season long.

Buckey’s is a rustic country bar and restaurant with a fun, loyal following and a long-time dedicated staff that knows how to work hard, move fast, and have a good time doing it. This is the kind of place where regulars matter, the team matters, and the energy of the room carries through the whole season.

As we head into a busy summer, we’re looking for Seasonal Line Cooks to join our teams and help carry both kitchens through a strong, high-volume season.

You’ll be working in kitchens that serve lunch and dinner in fast-paced, high-energy environments — from upscale waterfront dining at The Wicked Loon to the rustic country-bar atmosphere at Buckey’s. This is a great fit for someone who wants a real season, steady volume, solid leadership, supportive crews, and places that are worth showing up for.

Most importantly, you’ll help take the kitchen into service, through service, and out of service — set up and ready before the rush, locked in during service, and cleaned down the right way at the end of the night.

What We’re Looking For

• has solid line experience in a busy kitchen

• works clean, fast, and with urgency

• cares about food quality and consistency

• can handle pressure without getting sloppy

• communicates well and works as part of a team

• shows up ready to work and pull their weight

This is not a role for someone looking to coast through a summer. We want someone bona fide — a cook who can step into a fast-paced kitchen and contribute right away.

Housing

Housing may be available for the right candidate, with both private and shared room options available. Housing cost varies based on room type. Apartments include utilities, off-street parking, and are located just minutes from work.

Season

This is a seasonal position for the summer/fall season, with flexibility around exact start and end dates for the right candidate.
