Ski, Ride, Bike, Hike... and manage the maintenance of this impressive historical property

The Stowe Village Inn is looking for a full time Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the property on a daily basis in order to achieve and provide a clean, comfortable, functional, presentable and positive guest experience.

The work schedule would be as follows: (with some flexibility)

• 11 AM to 7 PM Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday

• OFF Tuesday and Wednesday

Candidate must have experience with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and home automation systems. The job will include the following tasks, but not limited to:

• Perform routine inspections of buildings to identify and address maintenance needs.

• Conduct basic electrical repairs, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.

• Conduct repairs on doors, windows, floors, and walls to maintain a secure and aesthetically pleasing environment.

• Install, maintain, and inspect smart technology devices throughout the campus including smart-lock door hardware, smart lights, electronic and software applications.

• Service, inspect, clean, and repair mechanical/HVAC, plumbing (boilers, furnaces, hot water heaters, toilets), water, sewer, and sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Maintain and repair housekeeping machinery (vacuums, washers, dryers).

• Assist with & manage capital improvements.

• Responsible for weeding, mulching and tree trimming whenever necessary or as directed.

• Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes removing, cleaning and replacement of trash bins.

• Responsible for the shoveling, salting and/or sanding of entrances, exits, stairways, and walkways during winter months.

• Be available for off-hours emergencies.

• Performs other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
