Join the Team Behind the Most Iconic Wilderness Experience in Montana
Paws Up Montana is not your average workplace—and the Glamping Butler is not your average service position.
This is a role for high performers who thrive in nature, enjoy making people feel special, and take pride in rolling up their sleeves to get the job done—whatever the job may be. As a Glamping Butler, you are the face of one of our six luxury glamping camps, delivering five-star service in the middle of the great outdoors. Think of it as the ultimate hybrid: part server, part bartender, part concierge, part problem-solver, part campfire hero.
This is a fast-paced, high-accountability position that combines luxury hospitality with rustic charm and real grit.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the Camp Experience: Be the primary point of contact for your assigned guests. Build relationships, learn preferences, and elevate every moment from check-in to farewell.
Own Food & Beverage Service (Approx. 60% of your day):
Set and serve daily breakfast or dinner in the camp pavilion
Assist the chef with setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup
Maintain inventory and complete restocking of beer, wine, and spirits
Prepare and deliver morning coffee service to guest tents
Coordinate with Resort Departments:
Serve as the in-camp liaison for Activities, Housekeeping, Transportation, Maintenance, Billing, and Shipping
Log and relay requests clearly and professionally using Microsoft Teams
Keep Camp Running Smoothly:
Tidy pavilion and guest areas, do dishes, wipe surfaces, and restock supplies
Collect guest laundry, wash/dry/fold, and return items promptly
Confirm daily dinner reservations and wine orders for each guest and communicate with the culinary team
Embrace the Outdoors:
Build fires, split kindling, host s’mores, and help guests unplug and enjoy
Troubleshoot small issues on the fly with resourcefulness and a calm presence
Represent the Montana lifestyle with professionalism, humility, and heart
Who You Are:
A clear, confident communicator with strong English skills
Energetic, proactive, and adaptable—you don’t wait to be told what needs doing
Unbothered by the words “outside the job description”
Physically capable of fast-paced days, lifting and carrying items, and working on your feet
Comfortable using tech tools (Microsoft Teams, reservation systems, inventory tracking)
Hospitality-minded with a genuine desire to serve and connect with guests
Team-first mindset: you’re as happy washing dishes or folding laundry as you are pouring wine
Ready to live and work in a remote outdoor setting (yes, it’s really by the river!)
Bonus Points If You:
Have food and beverage or fine dining experience
Have experience in luxury hospitality or concierge-style roles
Thrive in remote seasonal work environments
Know how to build a campfire or make a mean s’more
What You’ll Get:
Competitive seasonal pay ($20-$22 / hour) and optional housing ($400 rent)
Access to outdoor adventures on a 37,000-acre working ranch
A tight-knit team of high-performing individuals who work hard and support each other
The chance to be part of something truly unique—where guests leave saying it was “the best trip of their lives”
Educational, Experience, Licensure Required
High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
Basic kitchen safety and cleaning knowledge
Ability to operate dishwashing machine
Knowledge of Luxury hospitality and service
Valid Alcohol Serve Safe License
Team members can look forward to:
Employee Assistance Program
Employee lunch provided
$250 Referral Bonus
Employee Discounts on Merchandise
Carpool Reimbursement $5-$20/Day
This job isn’t for everyone. If you’re looking to coast through a season, say “that’s not my job,” or avoid hard work—this isn’t your place. But if you’re eager to push yourself, create unforgettable experiences, and be part of a team that gets it done—we’d love to meet you.
