The Fowler Center

Since 1957 The Fowler Center (MCHS Family of Services) has been serving children & adults with disabilities and their families. We offer year-round outdoor programming through Summer Camp, Group Events, Travel Adventures, & Respite Weekends. Our goal is to provide a supportive community where individuals can try new activities and meet new friends while providing respite for families & caregivers.

Camp is located on 200 acres of beautiful countryside on Harmon Lake in the Thumb of Michigan. Just 2 hours north of Detroit, 1 hour from Lake Huron, and 3 hours from the UP! Our local village, Mayville, is only 5 miles away and has a dollar store, bank, library, and grocery store. Just slightly further away at 12 miles is Caro which has a variety of restaurants, stores, and small businesses!
