☀️Retail Associate Wanted: Join the Island Life!

Are you looking for a fun, fast-paced seasonal job in a beautiful island setting? The Boardwalk Family of Restaurants is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team in a dual Retail and/or Office Support role!

This opportunity is for our Lobster Trap (Retail) or our Park Place Boat Club (Retail/Office). Depending on the applicant's skills, this role offers either retail focus or a blend of customer-facing sales and essential office support.

Lobster Trap Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers warmly, offering assistance and product knowledge.

• Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.

• Maintain an attractive, clean, and well-stocked sales floor, including unpacking and displaying new merchandise.

• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges professionally and efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain shop standard.

Park Place Boat Club Responsibilities:

• Assist the Dockmaster with slip reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, accurately collecting required payments and paperwork.

• Answer phones and relay important messages to management and the dock crew.

•  Accurately process payments for dockage fees, utilities, and retail goods.

• Monitor marine VHF radio for incoming boat traffic and communicate berthing assignments to the dock crew.

What We're Looking For:

• A friendly, energetic, and positive attitude is a must!

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliability and strong work ethic, especially during peak season (May - October) including weekends and holidays.

• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate!

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
