The Ark, in the heart of Deer Isle, Maine, is a historic 1793 property offering overnight accommodations in the main building and three cottages across 2+ acres of waterfront land. The inn provides guests with an inviting retreat grounded in comfort, character, and a strong sense of place.

In addition to lodging, our on-site dining room and tavern are integral parts of the experience. In 2025, our restaurant was named one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the United States by The New York Times, a recognition that reflects the care and creativity we bring to everything we do.
