At The Alaska Catch, our fishing guides must represent themselves as professionals in the industry, offering top-level customer service and exceptional boat handling skills, with safety always being paramount to our guests. Our team of guides works together to share the knowledge of the fishery, work with their colleagues to hone their skills, and understand that feedback from others can help sharpen their situational awareness.
Guides need to hold a current Merchant Mariner Credential (Inland OUPV or better).

The Alaska Catch
The Alaska Catch is located in beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska. We operate 4, 5, 6, and 8 hour sport-fishing excursions and charters to our clients both visiting via cruise ship and staying in town. We mainly target salmon and halibut. We also catch rockfish, lingcod, and offer crabbing options as well. Trolling with down riggers and bottom fishing are common methods utilized in pursuit.
