Teton Valley Resort is seeking a full-time Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of our onsite restaurant, which includes a continental breakfast, dinner services, and a full bar.

The ideal candidate is a visionary and excited about creating a restaurant. This includes but is not limited to constructing the daily operations, menu design and offerings, as well as staffing needs. The ideal candidate has management experience in the restaurant industry, especially with a focus in resorts or hospitality.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and lead the team members to ensure service standards are understood and met

  • Develop and implement restaurant policies and procedures to ensure the restaurant is in maximizing operations

  • Develop, manage, monitor, and communicate budgets for restaurant operations

  • Create weekly staffing schedule

  • Use task tracking software to ensure cross-department communication and monitor task management and completion

  • Hire, train, and motivate restaurant staff and supervise their work to ensure high-quality experience for guests

  • Collaborate with others to organize restaurant operations

  • Maintain composure while handle disputes, complaints and grievances

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 5 years of combined food services experience

  • 3 years of management experience in food services industry

  • Knowledge of food and safety practices and procedures

  • Working knowledge of various computer software (POS, MS Office, etc.)

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong time and people management skills

  • Basic accounting knowledge
