Teton Backcountry Rentals is seeking a Summer Sales Associate for our Jackson shop location and Jackson Hole Airport Kiosk location. Join a team of locals that are passionate about getting outside and sharing the valley and its outdoor opportunities with others!

We specialize in the rental of camping, backpacking, and water sports equipment. Responsibilities will include recommending, storing, and cleaning gear, as well as educating customers on how and when to use bear spray. Customer service experience and familiarity with camping and backpacking equipment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

This position has the opportunity for growth within the company to become a year-round position with health care benefits and Paid Time Off if it is strong fit after a successful season. If you are just looking for a seasonal position that's fine too!

An Ideal candidate will want to work approximately 30 hours a week with a mostly consistent schedule, we may ask for some flexibility in the early and late season! Our summer season runs from May 15th - October 15th, but if you are not able to work the season that is okay! We are happy to accommodate a shorter season for the right person.

At this time we do not have housing available as part of the position, but we are happy to help you look for housing options. Housing is tight in Jackson Hole, like many other places right now, so we encourage you to look for housing on the local Facebook group "22 Rents" and via our local news outlets such as buckrail.com and jhnewsandguide.com. Many seasonal employees in Jackson also enjoy alternative housing, with both van life and camping for the summer being popular options.
