We are a family owned and operated Lodge in beautiful Seward, Alaska. Minutes from town, our lodge offers the convenience of being close to restaurants and activities while also getting the experience of being near the mountains and forest. We love to share with our guests what Seward has to offer and give them the best Lodging experience possible with our variety of accommodations.
We are located minutes from town, near the Resurrection River. Located 8 miles from the Exit Glacier, Kenai Fjords National Park. Across the street from the Salmon Bake restaurant.

About Spruce Lodge
Spruce Lodge is a family owned and operated Lodge. We have 24 single queen rooms, 25 double queen rooms and 3 chalets on the property, as well as, an onsite coffee shop! We are located right outside the city limits on Herman Leirer Rd on your way toward Kenai Fjords National Park. We are within walking distance to the Salmon Bake restaurant and the Windsong Lodge.
The Employee Experience
We offer a variety of positions. We look forward to expanding our team for the upcoming 2026 summer season. We are a fun and friendly work environment, at Spruce Lodge we offer all our employees a complimentary beverage during work days from our onsite coffee shop.

We have shared housing available about 5 miles from our lodge. It’s an apartment in downtown Seward.

Coffee? Our onsite coffee shop is a great addition to our lodge. We give all employees a complimentary coffee or beverage each day they work from our coffee shop the Esprusso! We also offer competitive pay and a great work environment.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Housing is about 5 miles from Spruce Lodge. Most of our seasonal employees get bikes or electric scooters.
For Fun
Seward offers many great hiking trails, beautiful scenery, fishing, boat tours, the Alaska SeaLife center, great local cuisine!
