Join the staff of Songadeewin of Keewaydin. We are a girls’ residential summer camp. Live and work with campers and teach the activities you know and enjoy. Wilderness canoe and hiking trips are a central part of our program. Campers and staff come from across the US and abroad - make friendships to last a lifetime. We provide training through our Trip School which includes a four-day canoe trip, a SOLO WFA course, CPR and a week of pre-season training which starts June 10. An optional ARC Lifeguard course begins June 7. Commitment June 10 – August 22. We are an ACA accredited camp. Salary starts at $4,050 for current college students.  Room and board included.

Originally founded in 1921 and now located on Lake Dunmore, Vermont, Songadeewin or 'Songa' is an overnight camp for girls with a focus on wilderness exploration and canoe-tripping. Keewaydin's mission is to provide camping experiences and challenges that help children achieve significant personal growth by living in community, being independent, and living simply in rustic and natural setting.

Housing details
On campus housing depends on your position at camp and ranges from rustic wooden cabins (shared with campers) to canvas tents on a platform to camping in tents while out on wilderness trips. Meals are eaten family style, shared in a community dining hall.
