    Job Responsibilities:

     

    • Learn SMS & RTP Systems: Gain technical knowledge of reservation and ticketing systems.

    • Understand Lodging: Familiarize yourself with 33 complexes and 1,200 rental units, including hotel rooms, condos, and private homes.

    • Know Rates: Learn rate structures, including rack rates, discounts, and packages.

    • Resort Knowledge: Understand lift tickets, ski rentals, lessons, adventure products, and special events.

    • Guest Services: Confirm and book accommodations and activities, handle reservations, and provide information on options and rates.

    • Handle Transactions: Reconcile daily transactions, including processing payments and balancing the cash drawer.

    • Customer Service: Answer inquiries about activities, attractions, and general information.

    • Confidentiality: Protect guest information and issue keys properly.

    • Coordinate with Staff: Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance about room issues and guest needs.

    • Maintain Operations: Keep the front desk organized, prepare for the next shift, and manage information displays.

    • Team Contribution: Support team efforts and ensure smooth daily operations.

     

    Education:

    Shuttle Bus Driver

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    Full Time - Year Round Position! Our Transportation Manager provides for the transportation and parking needs of our guests at Snowshoe mountain resort. This position supervises 40+ employees including the DOT compliance and training Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, Shuttle drivers and Shuttle Supervisor.

     

    • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining staff for the shuttle service.

    • Purchasing, managing, and overseeing maintenance of material resources.

    • Arranging for and administering the Commercial Drivers Safety Program.

    • Compiling and analyzing data pertaining to the shuttle service.

    • Preparing, administering, and monitoring the operating budget of the shuttle service, and making recommendations for the capital budget.

    • Researching vehicle specifications and availability to make recommendations for the capital budget.

    • Preparing regular performance and wage reviews and providing coaching feedback as needed.

    • Analyzing data and preparing reports as needed.

    • Monitoring, implementing, controlling, and revising the daily operations of the shuttle service as needed.

    • Scheduling random drug testing for the DOT program.

    • Staying updated on resort events and occupancy levels.

    • Continually strive to improve shuttle service by dispersing information to drivers.

    • Changing signage as needed to improve guest service.

    • Analyzing and responding to guest service complaints.

    • Assisting other departments for special requests.

    • Work with leasing companies to renew or produce vehicle leases.

    • Adjust and adapt to changing conditions of the resort and re-route vehicle as needed.

     

    Driving:

    • Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program

     

    Preferred Experience:

    • Knowledge of computer operation
    • DOT compliance and current DOT regulations preferred
    • CDL with passenger endorsement required

Line Cook III’s will use knives, ovens, grills, warming trays and other cooking instruments in accordance with culinary standards and safe operation. Line Cook III’s are expected to have basic knife skills, able to prepare soups and sauces, know how to properly weigh and measure product, has knowledge of proper seasoning and how to prepare food on a flat top with sauté pan, over open flame and with a broiler.

     

    Experience Requirement: 12 months of Cook or Culinary experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club required.

    Education Requirement: No Level of Education Required.

    Training or Certification Requirement: No Training Required.

    Special Requirements for the Job: 1 year in job or culinary experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club required.

    On-the-Job Training provided. Will Train.

    Hourly Wage: $16.50 to $19.00 per hour - based on merit and past employment history with us.

    Possible Wage Increase: Returning employees in the same position are eligible for merit based on their last season’s performance review scores; increase can be as low as 0% and up to 6% of their base wage.

    Overtime Possible: Overtime may be available at $24.75 to $28.50 per hour

    Pay Period: A single work week, starting Saturday, will be used to calculate hourly wages, and will be paid bi-weekly.

     

    Housing: Rent is between $300 - $600/month based on accommodations to be paid online; housing deposit of $250 to be paid online also.

    Employer will not assist in finding housing from third party landlords.

    Mode of transportation: On-mountain shuttle service.
