We’re looking for an enthusiastic Line Cook and team player with a passion for food who can help us deliver the best customer service and food experiences for guests at our popular seaside inn in Maine. You'll be part of a team that is responsible for buffet breakfasts, dinner service and, event catering for our guests. Training is available for a candidate with a willingness to learn, work hard, and communicate well.
Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you’ll assist in kitchen preparation duties and dinner service. You may also be requested to prep and assist with event catering and cook breakfast as required. Duties include:
Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot products.
Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking.
Prepare and plate salads and appetizers.
Prepare and garnish plated items.
Clean and sanitize work areas and ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times.
A professional attitude is required in all interactions with guests and fellow staff members.
