Shell Campground & Cabins is seeking a Housekeeping and Customer Service team member. 

Housekeeping is primary responsibility, some customer service (assisting with reservations) are also required.

Housekeeping duties include cleaning cabins, glamping tents, shower house and other common areas.  

Our ideal team member has a positive attitude, must work independently, enjoys the outdoors, and will maximize the recreation opportunities available in the area.

No Pets.

Compensation: $15-$20 per hour. Pay depends on experience and housing needed (see below).

Housing: includes a furnished large 1 bedroom apartment with a private kitchen and dining room, good wifi/internet, utilities, onsite laundry. Bedroom is private but living room and kitchen will be shared with other staff members.

RV site accommodations are also available, including water, sewer and electric.

Commitment: May 8 - November 1. Extended employment is possible.

About Shell, Wyoming
Approximately 5 miles from Big Horn National Forest on US Highway 14, Shell is located on a popular route from the Black Hills, South Dakota / Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park. Shell has a population of 83 people and is a 15 minutes drive to Greybull (population 1,847). Cody, Wyoming is an hour drive (population 9,800) and is a very popular tourist destination as the “east gate” to Yellowstone National Park. Cody is where you will find the closest airport, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.

The nearby Big Horn Mountains feature Shell Falls, Shell Canyon, Cloud Peak Wilderness Area, the Medicine Wheel, Big Horn Scenic Byway, Antelope Butte Mountain Recreation Area. There is abundant hiking, fishing and ATV trails.

Shell Campground is owned by Kevin and Emily Clark. We have great relationships with our previous seasonal staff, some of who have permanently relocated to Shell!

Shell Campground has 9 cabins, 10 RV sites, 4 “glamping” tents. We are a popular spot for overnight guests going to/from Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore and the Badlands or multiple night guests exploring the Big Horn Mountains.

We are a popular spot for overnight guests going to/from Yellowstone National Park or multiple night guests exploring the Big Horn Mountains. We also own the Old Shell Store Kitchen & Taphouse, featuring amazing burgers and fries, pastries, and other specialty items.
