Experience winter in Alaska! (Housing included!) Winter Property Manager / Housekeeper in Seward!

Sauerdough Lodging is now hiring for the position of Winter Property Manager / Housekeeper at our downtown Seward, Alaska location. 

We are located on the second floor of our historic property, above the Rowdy Radish cafe, and are open year-round. We are looking for someone to take over housekeeping for the lodging starting in mid-September (we can be semi-flexible on the start date), and act as the winter caretaker/property manager.

Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to) guest services, housekeeping, marketing, building maintenance, being on-call for any issues that may arise, snow removal, and rent collection. Must be available to help our guests at all times, in person and via phone calls and messages. Our bookings slow considerably from October to March, so housekeeping days may be sporadic.

Experience preferred, but will train the right person. Background check and references are required. Basic computer skills required. Must have a laptop and be accessible via phone 24/7.

Rent is included (a security deposit for housing is required) We pay a flat salary for the property manager position, and then an additional $18-20 DOE per hour for the housekeeping portion.
