Position Summary

Roasted Root Café is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Front of House Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and create exceptional guest experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing front-of-house service, managing and training staff, coordinating with kitchen leadership, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. 

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house restaurant operations.

• Lead and supervise servers, hosts, baristas, and support staff.

• Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.

• Coordinate service flow between front-of-house and kitchen teams.

• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance coaching.

• Monitor cleanliness and organization of dining areas.

• Manage opening and closing procedures.

• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.

• Assist with inventory management and ordering.

• Support special events and group dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Food Handler Permit required (or ability to obtain).

• Alcohol service certification preferred.

We are looking for friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Servers to join our hospitality team. Servers play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences by providing attentive service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests receive exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately.

• Deliver meals and beverages promptly.

• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and daily specials.

• Process guest payments accurately.

• Assist with opening and closing duties.

Laundry Attendant- $15/hr

Position Summary

Escalante Canyon Inn is seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to support our housekeeping operations by ensuring linens, towels, and guest laundry items are cleaned, organized, and available to meet daily operational needs.

The Laundry Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation standards that create exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and bedding.

• Monitor laundry inventory and report shortages or damage.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility.

• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

• Assist housekeeping staff with linen distribution.

• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures.

• Track and report maintenance issues with laundry equipment.

• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed during peak occupancy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail and organization.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
