At Ring Lake Ranch, hikes into the Wind River Mountains are an important part of our program. The Hike Leader is responsible for planning and leading a safe and educational hiking program appropriate to the ability and fitness levels of guests. In sessions during which children are in attendance, the hike leader needs to be able to lead hikes and activities appropriate for an intergenerational group. The Hike Leader will coordinate with the Associate Director on weekly scheduling of activities. Since hike-leading does not occupy the staff person full-time, the hike leader also works in housekeeping during the other part of their work time.

The Housekeeping Coordinator ensures that the Ranch buildings are kept in a clean and pleasant state for the enjoyment of the guests. Common areas such as the living room, chapel, den, and office are checked and maintained on a daily basis and cleaned weekly. The 3 public bathrooms are checked daily and cleaned twice weekly. Housekeeping checks and coordinates any additional cleanup needed of cabins between groups of guests, delivers and picks up linens from the laundry in town, and restocks linen closet when linens are returned. The Housekeeping Coordinator provides appropriate supplies for each cabin’s guests at the end of the week so that they can clean and re-stock the cabins.

Room and board provided at no cost. Our season runs May 17th-September 4th. Gratuity left by guests is divided evenly among the summer staff and distributed via paycheck.

Please note that we are not currently able to consider H-2B visa workers.
