The Employee Experience
Grand Canyon - Our team not only works together but some also live together in company housing, so the team is very much like family. They share meals together and spend time doing other planned activities like hiking, movie nights, trips to nearby towns & attractions, etc. Our Company homes have private bedrooms and bathrooms so employees can enjoy the benefit of privacy there.

Room and Board
We offer affordable employee housing at the Grand Canyon on a part-time or full-time basis. Full-time rent is only $70.00/week for a private bedroom with a full sized private bathroom attached.
We have 5 large homes, most with 5 bedrooms each. (Unfortunately pets aren't allowed.) Employees share the common areas - kitchen, living room, dining area, and laundry room. Every house comes with free Wifi and a Smart TV in each living room. It's only a 5 minute walk across the street to work out of the Grand Canyon Visitor Center in Tusayan.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Grand Canyon employees can walk from company housing to work. Many also have their own vehicle which allows them to get out of town and explore when they want. Most times of the year there is public shuttle transportation available between the popular towns of Tusayan, Williams, and Flagstaff.
For Fun
Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, River Rafting, Photography, Star Gazing and exploring are some of the opportunities and popular activities at the Grand Canyon.
Current Job Openings
Full-time Seasonal Guides work a 4 or 5 day work week
Part-time Seasonal Guides work a 3 or 4 day work week
Good driving record
At least 25 years of age (for driver requirements)
Effective communicator; energetic, outgoing, entertaining speaker
Outdoor enthusiast with an interest in flora, fauna, history, archaeology, and geology
Good judgment and problem solving skills
Team player who is also self-motivated
Courteous to all users of Forest Service, National Parks, and other lands we operate on
Able to endure a variety of weather while working outdoors
Able to drive and conduct tours up to 10 hours/day
Able to walk on uneven terrain and conduct mild hiking tours
Wilderness First Responder certification a plus!

As a Tour Guide, you have the best office in town! You'll be in an equipped, capable, and impressive Pink Jeep or Trekker while surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Tour Guides provide fun, education, and lifetime memories to customers from all over the world on a variety of tours. We are hiring Seasonal FT and PT Guides who are fun, safety-minded, and self-motivated, with excellent customer service and communication skills.
Training starts June 2, 2026!
Seasonal positions last a minimum of 27 weeks
Seasonal positions last a minimum of 27 weeks, typically with ending dates beginning in December. Seasonal employees may have the opportunity to return in February or March of the following year. Some year round opportunities may become available.
Company housing available to rent. You'll have your own bedroom and bathroom.
RESPONSIBILITIES -
Share the area's cultural and natural history while providing fun and adventure on mild to rugged scenic trails all while driving our iconic Pink Jeeps or Trekkers.
