Line Cook – Seasonal or Year-Round | Tips + Housing Available

Orcas Hotel is a small, independently owned hotel and caf on Orcas Island in northern Washington. We are hiring Line Cooks to join our back-of-house team for the busy summer season, with opportunities for year-round work.

This role is ideal for cooks who value a friendly, ego-free kitchen culture and take pride in consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Line cooking during service

• Prep and station setup/breakdown

• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

• Supporting teammates during high-volume service

Pay & Benefits

With tips, hourly pay typically averages ~$25/hour in the low season and significantly higher during summer

• Shift meals and dining discounts

• Subsidized employee housing may be available ($500 $950/month)

Qualifications

• Prior line cook experience required

• Strong attention to detail and consistency
