Personal Chef for Private Family Recreational Ranch in the Wyoming Mountains

Chef for family recreational/cattle ranch an hour west of Wheatland, Wyoming in the Laramie Range Mountains (7,000ft elevation). REMOTE. Start date: Immediate to Oct. 1st. 

-- Staff Housing onsite Private en-suite bedroom

-- Discretionary end of summer bonus.  

-own vehicle needed for personal time off.  A ranch vehicle is provided for work use.

There is internet and wifi calling at the main residence as well as at staff housing. During time off there is amazing hiking, fishing, and biking.  This role is for those applicants who are ok with small staff and far from town life. Pictures of the ranch and work space are available to send.

A second home to a family that comes up for 4 days at a time, generally, each weekend. HEALTHY and ORGANIC COOKING for numbers ranging from 5-25.  A very simple continental breakfast is set out for early risers (put out by housekeeper), lunch, then apps and dinner at 7 pm. Work experience as a personal/family chef a plus. Experience in grilling and smoking also important.

Duties include, but not limited to meal planning, grocery shopping, prep, and cleanup of kitchen dishes and buffet dishes.  Family-style meals. Maintaining a CLEAN kitchen is very important  

• You will be expected to be neat, clean and odor-free while at work.

• You should be a cooperative team member with a pleasant and positive can-do attitude.  

• You must be a self-starter who takes initiative to get things done without supervision.

• You must have the ability to kneel, bend, carry, stoop, climb, and lift items up to 50 lbs,

• This is a service industry job, and as such, you must be flexible in dealing with guests, working hours, and job requirements.

• Pre-hire drug screening and background checks are mandatory.  

• Must have solid working references.
