We are looking for CDL Drivers for our 2026 Summer Rafting Season. The ideal candidate has a current Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and no airbrakes restriction. We have full and part time positions available.

And the location is beautiful, as a driver you will spend a lot of your time waiting at the rafting put ins and take outs which are usually riverside beach areas. When you aren't waiting to pick up a trip or waiting for a trip to launch, you are driving up and down the beautiful Kern River.

This job is not eligible for our employee housing and there is no additional housing compensation, we can assist you in finding a place to stay during your time here.

Responsibilities:
Pre and post trip vehicle inspections
Drive guests, staff, and gear to and from river
Attaching and dethatching trailers
Maintain tidiness of vehicles
Maintain vehicle fluid levels
Gas up vehicles after trips
Make sure guests feel comfortable and enjoy the scenic drive to and from the river
Qualifications:
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Current Class B CDL with Airbrakes and Passenger Endorsement
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Experience pulling a trailer preferred but not required
must be 23 years old or older

- **Employee housing only available for those applying to our Camp Host Position** We have a "guide house" walking distance from our base of operations, there are shared rooms, a camper with a couple of beds outside in the fenced in parking lot, and many parking spaces in the fenced in lot for car living. The guide house has 3 showers, a large indoor kitchen, and lots of outdoor hang out space. We are a 5 minutes drive from downtown Kernville which has lots of restaurants, bars, a gym, and shops. The guide house is walking distance from a coffee shop, a subway, a gas station with convenience store, local gym, and local bar (all 5ish minute walk from house). There is good cell service and Wifi at the house.
