Mendocino Grove is regarded as one of the top Glamping destinations in the US.  Located on the beautiful Northern California Coast, the 37 acre, 60 tent campground is in close proximity to the gorgeous beach at Big River, Historic Town of Mendocino and the majestic Navarro River. 

Camp Concierge - 20/hour with opportunity for tips

Essential Functions : The Camp Concierge oversees the Camp Store /Front Desk and the Espresso Bar. Core Store / Front Desk responsibilities include : welcoming guests, answering guest questions, providing recommendations - local attractions & restaurants and in general being available to meet all guests needs.  Camp store responsibilities include: cleaning, merchandising product, tracking inventory, running sales, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a happy and upbeat demeanor. Camp Concierge also participates in the communication and general daily operations between housekeeping, reservations and deliveries. Espresso bar tasks include: making espresso bar drinks, processing sales and restocking inventory, assisting guests with general inquiries about the campground, and providing recommendations on local attractions and restaurants. 

Requirements : 1+ years previous hospitality experience and/ or retail experience working with PMS and POS systems. Experience working as a bartista is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly and kindly with customers and other employees. Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy helping others. Attention to detail and highly organized is a must.

Education: High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:  Candidates must be able to lift things weighing up to 40 pounds, have the physical strength and stamina to work extended periods on your feet. Be comfortable working in outdoor environments in various weather conditions.  

Housing: We have a large remodeled farmhouse on the campus for worker lodging provided as part of your compensation. The house is fully furnished and comes equipped with a large  kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, central living room and large deck. Private bedrooms. Strong Wifi. Washer and dryer on the property. The house is located in walking distance to the beach and town, but a car is recommended.
