Living and Working in Silver Gate, Montana

My name is Hunter, my husband Isaiah and I are hiring for the 2026 summer season. We are looking for a single person or couple to fill full time positions at the Log Cabin Cafe in Silver Gate, Montana. The Log Cabin Cafe is a historical restaurant built in 1937. We serve traditional diner breakfast and lunch. The positions to fill are full time from May to October. We are looking for kitchen staff who are comfortable with cooking and baking. Silver Gate is unique in its remoteness and beauty, we are nestled a mile outside the North East entrance of Yellowstone. This area is a great place to spend a summer. There are endless outdoor activities and adventures to be had here. Some local activities include fishing, hiking , weekly softball, swimming holes and  of course Yellowstone National Park.

At the Log Cabin Cafe we enjoy serving quality food and baked goods made from scratch. We are family owned and are seeking motivated, positive and team oriented workers to fill our open positions. Our kitchen staff duties include everything from food prep, baking, cooking, line cooking, cleaning and dish washing. Kitchen experience is preferred for this job but not required. We provide private housing at no cost, along with utilities and WiFi access. 

Our season starts May 17th and ends the first week of October.
